Rabbi Yosi Saragossi was a 15th-16th century sage who came to Tzfat from Saragossa, Spain after the expulsion of 1492. He is credited with encouraging the resettlement of Tzfat and is considered one of the founding fathers of the Jewish community that would become the golden age of Tzfat. He is buried near Tzfat at a site called the Kever Harav.
