Benaihu Ben Yehoyada was one of King David's greatest warriors, described in the Bible as a man who did great deeds. He killed a lion in a pit on a snowy day, and slew an Egyptian warrior with his own spear. He later became the commander of King Solomon's army. His kever is located near Tzfat and is visited by those who pray for strength and protection.
