Café Monitin is one of the most iconic and beloved cafés in Tzfat — the first café to open in the city back in 1990. Located at Jerusalem Street 70, this mehadrin dairy café offers a full menu of breakfasts, salads, sandwiches, shakshuka, and spectacular desserts including the famous 'Café Monitin' drink topped with cream and gold-coated candies hiding Belgian chocolate beneath. In winter, chestnuts are roasted on the fireplace and distributed to guests for free. The interior features decorated ceilings, pictures of tzaddikim, and stunning views of the Old City.
