The Chernobyl Kloyz (in Yiddish, Tshernobiler Kloyz) is a Hasidic beit midrash in Tzfat’s Old City, today under the Skverer Rebbe. The gold sign beside the door says it was founded by the holy grandfather, Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl, and renovated in 5774 (2014).
Next door is the kloyz’s Kollel Avreichim. A stone inscription over the kollel door records that the kloyz was rebuilt with funds from Russia, in the name of Rabbi Aharon of Chernobyl, and completed on 15 Elul 5625 (1865).
Today it houses an English-speaking kollel and keeps daily minyans, with a warm, studious atmosphere. Weekday Shacharit at 7:30am; Shabbat morning at 8:30am; Friday early Mincha at 1:30pm.
