The Gra Synagogue is Tzfat’s Lithuanian-Ashkenazic shul, named after the Vilna Gaon (Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna). It is the only synagogue in Tzfat that follows the traditional Lithuanian-Ashkenazic order of prayer (nusach Ashkenaz without Chassidic modifications). Two weekday Shacharit and Mincha minyans; Shabbat morning at 8:00am; early Mincha at 1:30pm.
