Livnot U’Lehibanot (‘To Build and Be Built’) is a unique experiential Jewish program for adults aged 21–35, based on Alkabetz Street in the Old City of Tzfat. The Livnot program combines hiking in the Galilee, community volunteering, excavation participation, seminars, and guided exploration of Jewish heritage in a non-denominational atmosphere. The Tzfat Visitors Center, operated by Livnot, also offers the Tunnel Tour — a walk through 16th-century excavations under the Old City. Short and long-term programs run throughout the year.
