Reb Leibel Baal HaYissurim (Reb Leibel Master of Suffering) was a Chassidic tzaddik who accepted upon himself tremendous physical suffering as an atonement for his generation. He lived in Tzfat in the 18th-19th century and is buried in the Old Cemetery. Despite his great suffering, he maintained complete joy and faith. His kever is visited by those seeking healing and relief from suffering.
